  • Pregnant teens are more likely to drop out of high school and even less likely to go to college; most turn to government assistance.
  • The baby of a teenage mother is more likely to have developmental disabilities, and a baby girl born to a teen is more likely to become a teen mother herself.

 The Blossom Project began in 1999 in response to the devastating number of teen pregnancies in the Mountain View/Los Altos area. Today
